A revised version of the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG), (NSF 16-1) has been issued. The new PAPPG will be effective for proposals submitted, or due, on or after January 25, 2016. Significant changes include:
Key changes are as follows:
- Change in Biosketch Template - omit section (e) on collaborators, graduate advisors, and advisees
- New Supplementary Document Type - listing of collaborators, graduate advisors, and advisees
- New Supplementary Document Format - letters of collaboration must conform t o a specified format
- New Information required for Current and Pending Support - include internal funds that can be attributed to specific projects
- New Information required for List of Suggested Reviewers - include email addresses
- New Information required on Cover Sheet - list location of international conference attendance, if unknown indicate 'worldwide'
- New Information required for Project Description - vertebrate animal use protocol to be described if IACUC approval is pending
- New Information required for Conference Proposals - list support from other sources within the Facilities description
