2016 CHANGES STEM FORUM, APRIL 16TH ****REGISTER TODAY ******

April 16, 2016 - 9:30am to 4:00pm
To My Friends and Colleagues in STEM,

You and  your network are invited to participate in the 2016 Coalition of Hispanic, African, and Native Americans for the Next Generation of Engineers and Scientists (CHANGES) STEM Forum that will be held on April 15, 2016 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.  Your experience and involvement in efforts to broaden participation in STEM will make you a valuable addition to the meeting.

The purpose of the Forum is to identify ways to accelerate the production of underrepresented minorities in STEM.  By bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders who view the barriers from different perspectives, we hope to achieve the following objectives:

1.      Develop a holistic approach for STEM student development such that they successfully complete their STEM education and perform well in the workforce.
2.      Develop strategies to accelerate the production of underrepresented minorities in STEM and begin to develop the framework of a White Paper that will ultimately be shared with STEM stakeholders.
